So my Wife (and biz partner) Abi says to me ‘Rob; suit and boot this man, make him look gorgeous, we’re doing a shoot at Spains Hall in Essex (for their marketing) and he’s our model….’ In comes Sam and being a model it wasn’t difficult to help him look good, a likeable chap, good looking and in good nick…. bit like me really, lol.
I came up with a couple of super smart looks but Sam’s favourite option was the Royal Blue Westbury Suit. Sam loved the look so much that he’s hiring it himself from The Groom’s Room hire department to wear at a couple of weddings that he’s got to go to, he might even buy one (to hire it’s a steal at only £119 and to buy on a made to order basis from us is a snip at £425). So this particular suit is new for the season and proving very popular; It’s a slim fit cut and vibrant in terms of it’s blue fabric colour and suits a variety of body shapes and complexions. It’s been very popular in terms of menswear hire partly because it’s such a sharp suit but also actually, because we have the trouser in two different fits. Options include a regular trouser and a slimfit trouser which is obviously a more tapered cut and fit. Having the two trouser styles available to hire and buy with us enables different aged members of the Groom’s party including the Father of the Bride and Father of the Groom to wear the suit as they are more likely to prefer a classic trouser rather than one that’s more fashionably fitted.
Sam wore the tapered version and we teamed this with sunflower yellow accessories. It looked awesome! The other look that we styled for Sam included a Navy Forton Tailcoat which was accessorised with a Windsor pink waistcoat and vintage pink neckwear which is also available in two trouser options.
The shoot went really well, weather wasn’t amazing but Dan Sakal of D&A Photography (who is a star behind his camera) managed to capture some brilliant images of Sam and his beautiful girlfriend Demi who also modelled … Well done team! Nice work!
