Well as usual we were packed to the rafters with appointments on Saturday, we had the great time meeting new 2014 and 2015 brides and grooms and we really look forward to looking after the rest of the lads in their parties sometime in the future…. Loved meeting Karl for whom we put together a sharp look for his wedding in June 2015.
Interestingly there was a fantastic variety of wedding destinations ranging from India to Ipswich and all of the wedding suits and accessories that we selected were as varied as the distance between them.
A few examples of the outfits chosen were a modern and ultra stylish slim fit three piece olive green Harris tweed suit with a burnt orange and claret check pattern. A classic navy Edwardian suit with vintage and blush pink accessories and then finally a smart lightweight charcoal grey tailcoat accented with silver and lilac tones.
What a great job I have – helping brides and grooms put together their wedding day look. I love the fact that that there is so much variety in the styles selected these days!
Another reason why I love the job is catching up with some of my previous customers including a previous Grooms who was in on Saturday. A really nice bloke called Olly was one of our Grooms when he got married 2 ½ years ago. He’s now the best-man for his best mate James and as part of his best man duties he had been given the job to pick the outfits for the rest of the party due to the Groom being away in the military and based out of Southampton. It was great to catch up and to see some of his fab wedding pictures on his phone we absolutely love them and are going to add them to our menswear customer gallery on here too.
Many congratulations to Olly and his wife who are expecting their first baby in 2 weeks time! What a special Christmas ahead they have, my advice is to get some sleep now lol!
