We’re often told it’s the little things that we do that make a big difference to our Grooms. For any of you that know our business and our service you’ll know that we believe in service with a smile (and a cold beer) and that we’re always keen to ensure that if a Groom wants any unique touches or an individual or personalised look that we can help!
Lately we’ve been extremely busy with our summertime Grooms and their entourage! Thank Goodness for this glorious weather at last! I’ve really felt disappointed for the many Grooms and Brides who have suffered with the lack of sunshine for their big and very special days, we’re all so thrilled that summer’s arrived finally at last and hope that everyone has been making the most of it! Talking of which here’s Matt and the Guys enjoying a relaxed moment at Le Talboth before group photos got serious! Many thanks for sending in Matt, you all look fantastic – looks like you had a blast!
So what have we been busy doing in-store? And what special and individual touches am I on about? Well; We’ve created some fantastic made to measure shirt designs, mainly white but with a while myriad of gorgeous accent colours and pattern trims along the plackets, cuffs and collars including peach, baby pink and royal blue! You (our customers) have been really thrilled with the results and we’ve enjoyed some amazing feedback, thanks Guys.
We’ve made a very cute tiny waistcoat for an 8month baby boy with the embroidered wedding date and ‘Mummy and Daddy’ on the back … I showed the Girls upstairs and they all melted, literally! I think he’s going to be the star of the show at that wedding day, the Bride might find she has some competition with that little Dude!
Top Hats aren’t always that popular with our Essex Gents but you’ve got to give it to one of our Groom’s who’s decided if you’re going to go for it to do it with a twist! He’s just ordered two top hats in a traditional Grey with a soft blue trim to match his blue waistcoat and neckwear! It looks really awesome, it was a brilliant idea, even if I do say so myself, wish I’d worn one !!!
So at this time of year our hire suits literally fly in and out of the door and proudly we’re heading for yet another record year here at The Groom’s Room! Our lightweight grey tailcoats are top of our menswear suit hire charts this summer but next summer our navy three piece lounge suits are looking really strong; Classy and classic both suit styles (although completely different) are smart and stylish.
This week it’s been exciting in-store Abi, myself and the team have been visited by Judges of the Essex Excellence Business Awards, we’ve made the desk reviews for the Marketing and Customer Service category and during another formal interview we’ve had to demonstrate why we think we’re worthy winners…
